Solar Kit with Battery: What Each Voltronic Kit Contains

What a solar kit with battery holds: the inverter, the battery bank and the panel count of six Voltronic kits, with the sums behind each line.
A solar kit with a battery is three lines on a parts list: an inverter, a battery bank and a row of panels. What decides whether it works is that the three were sized against the same load. This page shows what the ready-made Voltronic kits on this site contain, how each figure in them is worked out, and which product records the parts come from.
What a solar kit with battery contains
Every kit on the ready-made systems page is computed for a named building and a named way of using the grid. It always has the same three lines:
- an inverter rated above the peak load of the building, the start-up surge of its largest motor included;
- a battery bank that stores what the building uses during the backup window, or during a whole day when there is no grid at all;
- a solar array that puts one day of consumption back in one day of sun.
Our catalogue holds Voltronic inverters and Voltronic batteries. It holds no solar panel, so the panel line of a kit is a quantity of 550 W modules rather than a product: any module of that rating fills it.
Six kits, read from the system pages
| Kit | Peak load | Use per day | Inverter | Battery | Panels |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Off-grid apartment | 4,850 W | 13.8 kWh | Axpert King II TWIN 6K | 4 x LIO 4810 | 6 x 550 W |
| Off-grid house | 8,050 W | 25.4 kWh | Axpert MAX E Duplex 11K | 6 x LIO 4810 | 11 x 550 W |
| Off-grid villa | 11,700 W | 49.53 kWh | Axpert MAX II TWIN 12K | 12 x LIO 4810 | 22 x 550 W |
| Off-grid shop | 5,550 W | 25.2 kWh | Axpert King II TWIN 6K | 6 x LIO 4810 | 11 x 550 W |
| Off-grid office | 9,200 W | 40.4 kWh | Axpert MAX E Duplex 11K | 10 x LIO 4810 | 18 x 550 W |
| Farm, overnight backup | 3,925 W | 6.65 kWh | InfiniSolar V II TWIN 6kw | 1 x LIO 4810 | 3 x 550 W |
The backup kits for a house, a villa and an office use the high-voltage EnergyCube stack instead of 48 V modules: one EnergyCube 305 of 15 kWh for a house overnight, one EnergyCube 605 of 30 kWh for a villa overnight. On those pages the inverter line is a power rating rather than a model, and the page says so.
The arithmetic behind the off-grid house kit
The off-grid house is the kit most buyers start from. Its load list is two air conditioners of 1,200 W running 8 hours, a fridge of 150 W over 8 hours, lighting and Wi-Fi of 200 W over 8 hours, a television of 100 W over 6 hours, a washing machine of 800 W for 1 hour and 2,000 W of kitchen appliances for 1 hour.
- Energy per day. 19.2 + 1.2 + 1.6 + 0.6 + 0.8 + 2.0 = 25.4 kWh.
- Peak load. One air conditioner starting draws three times its running power, 3,600 W, while the rest of the house adds 4,450 W. Peak: 8,050 W.
- Inverter. The Axpert MAX E Duplex 11K is rated 11,000 W with a 22,000 VA surge, above the 8,050 W peak.
- Battery. With no grid, the bank holds a full day: 25.4 kWh. The LIO 4810 module stores 4,800 Wh and is counted as 4.32 kWh usable, so 25.4 / 4.32 = 5.9, which makes 6 modules.
- Array. 25.4 kWh / (5.7 sun hours x 0.75) = 5.94 kWp, which is 11 modules of 550 W. The kit pages use 5.7 peak sun hours, the sizing engine's figure for the UAE. Its figure for France is 3.7, and the same division then gives 9.15 kWp, or 17 modules.
A backup kit differs in two places. The battery covers only the backup window, so 4 hours of the same house is 25.4 x 4 / 24 = 4.23 kWh, one LIO 4810. And the array is divided by 0.8 instead of 0.75.
What the records say about the parts
The Axpert MAX E Duplex 11K record states two PV inputs of 27 A each, a maximum array of 11,000 W (5,500 W x 2), an MPPT range of 90 to 450 VDC, a 500 VDC open-circuit limit and up to 150 A of charge current into a 48 VDC bank. Six units run in parallel.
The LIO 4810 record states 4,800 Wh at 48 VDC nominal, 100 Ah, 150 A of maximum continuous discharge, a lifecycle above 4,500 cycles at 25°C and a net weight of 44.8 kg. Its smaller sibling, the LIO 4805, holds 2,400 Wh with 75 A of continuous discharge and is the battery of the farm kit with evening backup.
The EnergyCube 305 record states 15 kWh at 307.2 VDC, built from 102.4 V / 50 Ah modules of 5,120 Wh, with 60 A of maximum continuous discharge and 6,000 cycles at more than 80% capacity.
Every figure above can be checked on the family datasheets: Axpert MAX E Duplex, LIO 4805 and 4810 and EnergyCube 205 to 605.
When no ready-made kit fits your building
A kit page answers for a typical building. If yours runs three air conditioners instead of two, or a water pump, open the sizing calculator, tick your own appliances and your hours of backup, and it repeats the five steps above with your numbers and proposes the Voltronic inverter and battery that fit. To weigh two inverters against each other first, the comparison pages put their records side by side.
Each part of a kit is ordered from its own product page at the price shown there, and orders are collected in store in Dubai or Riyadh.
