Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, such as your name, email address, phone number, and inquiry details when you fill out our contact form, request a quote, or register as a dealer. We also collect technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and device information when you visit our website.
Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies for three narrow purposes: keeping the site functional, storing your language, and measuring traffic and its sources. Browser settings control them; the essential set is what the pages need in order to run. The measurement goes further than page counts, so here is the whole of it. For each page we record the time you spend and how much of that time is active, scroll depth and scrolling speed, the interval before your first interaction, what you hover over and for how long, and every click — the element, the link, and the screen position, held as a coordinate so clicks can be aggregated into heatmaps. Repeated or dead clicks, pinch-zooms, text you highlight outside form fields, printing, right-clicks and periods spent on another tab are recorded too. Search terms entered in the site search are kept, as are the filters you apply. Form activity is recorded field by field — which field, how long, filled or abandoned — and never as content: what you type is not read, and password and payment fields are excluded outright. A first-party cookie identifies your browser, not you, for up to two years, so that a returning visitor is recognised and the channel that first brought you here is not lost. Location is derived from your IP address and is no more precise than a city; your device satellite position is never requested or used. We also gather load performance, JavaScript errors, images that failed to load, your graphics chipset and processor core count, which is how pages that run badly on the hardware common in your market get found. Our tools record what you do inside them: the codes and devices you look up in the fault-code finder, the products you put side by side in the comparison, the answers you give the system builder, the quantities you set in the cart, and the datasheets you download — including the step at which you stop. Your browser language and time zone are used to guess which kind of buyer you are; the guess feeds grouped reporting and never the price or terms displayed to you. Your time zone is also read for a purpose that has nothing to do with reporting: deciding whether the law where you are makes your permission a precondition of measurement. In most markets it does not, no banner is shown, and measurement runs from the first page. Finally, tapping a WhatsApp, phone or email button, or sending any form, records what you provide and forwards it to our team along with the context of that visit: the page, how you used it, your device and your approximate city. The analytics cookies here are Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics, and what they carry is pseudonymous rather than anonymous: the same browser identifier, never your name. We set no advertising cookie today, but the banner does ask about advertising, so that one added later would not mean asking every visitor again. Where consent is required before measurement the banner asks first and nothing is measured until you answer; the essential set runs whatever you decide and is not put to you as a choice. Your answer is held for 180 days in a cookie named _dcc, clearing this site's data brings the banner back, and the answer is also filed with us — the date, the brand and market, the language, how you answered and the pseudonymous visitor identifier — for 790 days, so that what was chosen and when can be shown.
Third-Party Services
We use Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. The usage data they collect is not anonymous: it is pseudonymous, carried on an identifier that marks a browser for up to two years and names nobody. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Delivery details are passed to our shipping and logistics partners only to the extent needed to fulfil your order — never for marketing.
Data Protection
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All data transmissions are encrypted using SSL/TLS protocols. We retain your data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy.
Your Rights
Regardless of your location, you have the right to: (1) Access the personal data we hold about you. (2) Correct any inaccurate information. (3) Request deletion of your personal data. (4) Opt out of marketing communications. (5) Request a copy of your data in a portable format. (6) Lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority.
Data Retention
We retain personal information for: (1) Account and order data -- 7 years as required under UAE law. (2) Contact form inquiries -- 2 years. (3) Analytics and behaviour records -- 26 months, then deleted automatically; they are not anonymised and kept. (4) Marketing preferences -- until you unsubscribe.
